Vintage framed print of “A Breed”, by Frederic Remington (1861-1909) originally created in 1901. This print belongs to a collection called “The Buckskins” - a series of portraits commissioned by Robert Howard Russell in the early 1900’s. This particular copy is a 1956 reproduction print by Penn Prints and we found this one framed as is in an antique painted wood frame. We lightly cleaned up the glass and replaced the brads on the back of the frame.

• Look close, the wood frame has some light, natural scuffing that we chose to leave alone! Personally, we like the character it adds to the frame.

• Also look closely at the matting, there is some light sun fading. However the print is fine, leading us to believe this may not of been the original artwork in this frame and matting. 

• The outer dimensions of the frame are 19.25x23.25” and the glass and print measure roughly 12.25x16.25”

• Wired and ready to hang on your wall!
